What does the first consultation include?
The first consultation at MozgásKlinika Újbuda is one 60-minute session that covers both assessment and treatment. The fee (24,990 HUF) includes:
- consultation and a detailed history
- assessment: physical examination and posture analysis
- review of the reports you bring
- a personal therapy plan
- the start of treatment
How does the assessment work, step by step?
The assessment follows MozgásKlinika's own MozgásPiramis® protocol. It is not a separate, treatment-free step: therapy starts at the end of it.
- Health check and history of your complaints.
- A structured assessment based on the MozgásPiramis®: the nature of the pain, joint range of motion, muscle strength and control, movement patterns and compensations.
- Standardised manual and functional orthopaedic tests.
- Placement on one of the MozgásPiramis® levels.
- A personalised therapy recommendation.
- Treatment starts in the same session.
What should you bring?
If you have earlier reports, test results or discharge summaries, bring them: the therapist reviews them so that your plan fits your condition. They are not required for the consultation. Comfortable clothes you can move in are a good idea.
Assessment for jaw joint (TMJ) complaints
For jaw joint pain or clicking, the first visit starts with a jaw joint examination. It is a separate item in the booking system: 50 minutes, 24,990 HUF, available at the Újbuda clinic with Petra Bak and Myrtill Mészáros. After a traumatic injury, or with a tumour, jaw joint inflammation or lockjaw, the clinic can only see you after a consultation with an oral surgeon or a gnathologist.

The assessment is the starting point of the MozgásPiramis®: it decides which level you start from. Most patients start at level 1, where the aim is to find the source of the pain and relieve it.
